Naayak (the leader) Review
In Bengal a group of innocent men were kidnapped and planned
to killed and then the powerful hero intro(typical Vinayak's style) saves the
men. Movie goes to Hyderabad Cherry
(chran) works as software engineer. who in order to save his uncle Jilebi (Brahmanandam)
falls into trouble with local don Gandipeta Babji (Rahul Dev). He accidently
meets Gandipeta's sister (Kajal Agarwal) and falls in love. In the meantime, Ashish
Vidyarthi (CBI Officer) searching
for the killer in Bengal and hyderabad
When the CBI officer follows to Haridwar to
arrest Cherry, sees Nayak ( Charan) attacking Rawat (Pradeep Rawat) during Khumba Mela. CBI officer then arrests Nayak
leaving Cherry. Why Nayak is on a killing them
and how Cherry helps Nayak to
succeed in his mission forms the crux of the story.
Performance
Ram Charan did a tremendous job as a soft lover and an angry young man. His dancing skills are superb in first song (Lai la o Lai la...). His dialogue delivery and modulation are excellent in this movie. He did justice to both the roles.
Kajal Agarwal looked glamorous and did well in the first half. Amala Paul is limited to couple of scenes and did not have much to offer. Unfortunately, both the heroines are restricted to songs and dances.
Brahmanandam in the role of a bachelor uncle is at his best as Jilebi. The comedy scenes between Hero, Heroine and Brahmanadam are excellent. Other attraction for the movie is comedy by Jayaprakash Reddy. He gave a swell performance and his dialogues are hilarious. M. S. Naarayana is OK as lip reading specialist in CBI office. Posani Krishna Murali brings laughter in the intense second half.
Pradeep Rawat, Dev Gill, Ashish Vidyarthi did their bit. Kota, Sudha, Surekha Vani appear in limited roles. Rajeev Kanakala appears in an inspiring role. Venu Madhav, Raghu Babu, Fish Venkat tries to add comedy.
Technical
Director V V Vinayak, who is known for giving a commercial treatment to social subject, has chosen a routine story which has nothing new to offer. He chose a simple story and weaved an entertaining screenplay around it. Akula Shiva dialogues are plus to the movie. Editing by Goutam Raju is good.
Thaman background score is good. Four of six songs are good which includes ‘Shubhalekha Raasukunna’. Chota K Naaidu cinematography is asset to the movie.

Choreography and action scenes are composed well.
Production values are high.
Analysis:
The first half of the film is fantastic with the right mix of comedy, action and
romance. Tempo is very fast. Second half starts with a serious action and
violence and director adds comedy
between by Posani Krishna Murali the chocolate episode. It will be the big asset to the second
half. charan’s performance biggest asset for the movie.
Final Talk
‘Nayak’ is an entertaining film with loads of comedy
and action. Go
and Watch Nayak. It is definitely Cherry’s
pongal treat.

Damarukum Review
Cast and Crew:
Banner: R. R. Movie Makers
Directors : Srinivasa Reddy
Producer : Venkat
Cinematography : Chota K. Naidu
Editing : Gautham Raju
Music: Devi Sri Prasad
Cast : Nagarjuna, Anushka Shetty, Ganesh Venkatraman
Dhamarukam story starts
with graphics, main story is thousands
of years ago a fight between the god and the demon’s and the Gods destroy all
the Demon’s except Andhakaasura, and vows to take revenge and finish of the
Gods, The only way Asuras can get back their lost glory is that Andhakaasura
should marry a
gril (Anushka)who has a powerful Jatakam
and sacrifice her on the eve of a complete Grahanam , so he prays for Lord shiva
and make him Happy and gets his blessings. Malli
(Nagarjuna) lost his parents by Andhakasura
and Malli hates lord Shiva. He lives
with his younger sister who is not able to walk she takes treatment in an hospital where Maheshwari (Anushka ) works as doctor. Malli and
Maheshwari fall in love each
other. And
the rest of the story is did Andhakaasura takes revenge or failed
Nagarjuna as Malli done
his job well. But director should hav been taken care in Nag’s mannerism , body language , dialogue delivery bcoz
u remembers his
previous movie like Ragada ,King .He looks awesome in songs specially Nesthama Nesthama .
Anushka as Maheshwari looking gorgeous , The story revolves around
her character but their was no scope to act. Her chemistry with Nagarjuna was awesome specially in songs .
Ravi Shankar as Andhakaasura perfect for the role. His dialogues are
perfect in every scene. In some scenes
he dominated Nag
Prakash Raj as Lord Shiva gud , Brahmanandam and his comedy
gang are not hilarious, Ganesh Venkataraman
done his part well. Others are adequate.
Music by Devi Sri Prasad is an asset for the film. The back
ground score elevated the scenes. Two songs Nesthama Nesthama, Kanya
Kumari I like. Shiva Shiva
Sankara song BGM awesome.
Dhamarukam is a package with lavish technical values with interesting story but director failed in narrating story on screen without strong screen play and it is predictable and
presenting main leads (nag, anu), 1st half should have been more better. 2nd
half gud, but can be better, climax is the heart ot the movie with awesome graphics.
Final word : Dhamarukam is a one time watchable movie. Don’t go with high expectations, else you will enjoy the movie

Prabhu’s Review: JAB TAK HAI JAAN(Romance)
Prabhu’s Review: JAB TAK HAI JAAN(Romance)
Cast: Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Anupam Kher, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh
Director: Yash Chopra
Producer: Aditya Chopra
Music Director: A R Rahman
Lyricist: Gulzar
Producer: Aditya Chopra
The film is the best traditions of a Yash Chopra romance and his style
of taking can be seen in every frame. Movie starts in Ladakh,
Shahrukh enter as Major Samar Anand Bomb Defusing Squad of the Indian Army who plays with death at every step of his life. He had successfully defuse ninety-seven bombs and is on his ninety-eighth one when the film begins. Badshah of Romance Shah Rukh Khan has once again shown his romantic angle in this movie with two shades both are handled with easy. He is indeed, the man to watch out for.
Akira Rai (Anushka Sharma) is a twenty-one year old intern, dying to get placed with the Discovery Channel. She dives into the freezing cold waters and she cries for help Major Anand sitting on the banks save her & cover his jacket. She found samar anand’s dairy in his pocket ………..and flash back starts. Anushka was perfect for the role. 2nd half she looking awesome & performed well
Samar’s love Meera (Katrina Kaif) girl who dislikes ‘brown, boring’ Indians and dreams that someday she’ll be married off to some white(gora). she make friendship with samar for learning music and they both fall in love each other. She always seriously promises to Jesus, samar met with bike accident where samar hurts badly. To keep her promise & to keep samar alive meera tells samar to be far away. Rest of the story how she meet samar & married him. Katrina Kaif as the NRI Meera does a pretty good job of playing the girl who is torn between loves and promises
AR Rahman’s music in the film somewhere seems underused. The songs ‘Challa’, ‘Ishq Shava’ and ‘Saans Mein’ are a delight to the ears.
Go watch ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. You can thank the Kings of Romance once you’re done with the film…
